WiseMail watches your compose window and runs a compliance check as you type. If there's a regulatory problem, you see it inline — rule cited, fix suggested. If the email looks clean, nothing happens.
Real-time scan
Checks your email after a short typing pause and flags issues in the sidebar. Hit Alt+Shift+C to scan immediately without waiting.
Jurisdiction-aware
Pick your sender jurisdiction once in settings — WiseMail loads the right rules automatically. FR selection pulls in EU frameworks as well; cross-border emails combine both sides.
Custom policy skills
Write your firm's internal rules — forbidden claims, mandatory disclaimers, approval language — directly in the settings UI. Applied alongside built-in legal frameworks on every scan.
Three AI providers
You supply your own Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic API key. It's stored encrypted in your browser's local storage and never sent to WiseMail's servers.
Inline fixes
Each flagged issue includes a suggested rewrite anchored to the exact offending phrase. Hit "Apply fix" to replace it in the email, or dismiss if you disagree with the flag.
Attachment analysis
Extracts and checks text from PDF and DOCX attachments alongside the email body. A marketing sheet attached to a compliant email can still get you in trouble — WiseMail reads both.

No server-side component, no IT ticket, no data pipeline to configure. Install WiseMail, paste in an API key from your AI provider of choice, and you're done.
Install & configure
Install WiseMail, open the settings page, and paste in your API key from Google AI Studio, OpenAI, or Anthropic. The sidebar appears automatically in Gmail and Outlook compose windows.
Compose your email
Write in Gmail or Outlook as you normally would. WiseMail sits in a small panel next to your compose window and starts scanning when you pause typing.
Review & send
Review any flagged issues — each one includes the specific rule it violates and a suggested fix. Apply what makes sense, dismiss what doesn't, then send.
Six regulatory frameworks, ready out of the box
FR, EU, US, UK, and AU frameworks are built in. When you set France as your sender jurisdiction, EU rules are layered in automatically — you don't configure that separately. You can also add your own internal policy rules on top.
